About This Role

This is a pivotal role within our finance department, where you'll have the opportunity to shape the core transactional functionality of financial and procurement systems while influencing the financial strategic direction of the Trust.

You will be required to have an office presence although some hybrid working is feasible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee a rolling 5-year capital program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage a capital budget of approximately £40 million to £50 million annually, effectively allocating resources for strategic investments.
  • Implement comprehensive treasury management strategies, identifying and securing appropriate sources of finance to support the Trust's operations.
  • Take full responsibility for the Trust's statutory financial reporting obligations, including those of its subsidiary company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the financial management of contracts placed with Independent Adult Social Care providers, Court of Protection financial management, and direct payments to Adult Social Care clients, safeguarding resources and promoting ethical practices.
  • Provide support to the Charitable Fund section, contributing to their fundraising efforts and ensuring financial transparency.
