GKN Aerospace is a leading manufacturer of complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components, and wing systems for civil and military aircraft. We're seeking skilled fabricators to join our team at our Filton site, where you'll work with a variety of industry equipment to carry out fabrication duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with titanium, aluminium, and stainless steel materials to manufacture aircraft parts across various Airbus family of aircraft
  • Ensure parts are produced to a 'right first time' standard
  • Responsible for timely clearance of work phases using the SAP system
  • Highlight any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader
  • Adhere to GKNAF Quality Procedures
  • Accountable for Health & Safety requirements under Section 7 of the HASAWA 1974
  • Hold first-party inspection approval (M02 status subject to obtaining A stamp approval)
  • Responsible for general housekeeping within the area
  • Compliant with all risk assessments and company Environment, Health & Safety Procedures relevant to all work activities

What We're Looking For:

  • A recognised and relevant apprenticeship and relevant NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work to standard operating procedures
  • Self-motivated team player with good communication skills
