Key Responsibilities

As a Fabrication Specialist - Assistant Sign Shop Technician, you will operate under the supervision of the Sign Shop Technician and play an integral role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and fabricating signage and traffic-related products using suitable materials
  • Conducting routine and non-routine maintenance on workshop signage
  • Contributing to the Sign Shop Service through sign fabrication and installation
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed and modifications made
  • Utilizing electrical, mechanical, and hand tools for sign cutting, shaping, and assembly
  • Complying with company safety and health regulations

Ideal Candidate Profile

To thrive in the role of Fabrication Specialist - Assistant Sign Shop Technician , you should possess experience in sign production, with training opportunities available for candidates demonstrating potential and transferable skills. Essential qualifications include:

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and adhering to precise tolerances
  • Valid UK manual driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Understanding of manual handling, abrasive wheel, and first aid protocols
  • Computer skills for task execution and documentation
