Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days and Double Days)

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team at a large manufacturing plant in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that invests in the training and development of their maintenance engineers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance on large-scale machinery across the plant, developing their skills in electrical and mechanical disciplines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on various machinery within waste management and recycling facilities.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting findings to management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Mechanical bias with experience in maintenance engineering.
  • Background in manufacturing or the Armed Forces.
  • Proven expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
