Our client is in search of a proficient and seasoned Light Commercial Vehicle Specialist to join their dynamic main dealership in Poole, Dorset. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to advance their career or for a technician with a fast-fit background to transition into a main dealership setting.
The organization provides extensive manufacturer training to facilitate your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and service a range of light commercial vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and software to identify and rectify complex vehicle issues.
- Maintain precise records of all services performed and parts utilized.
- Effectively communicate with clients regarding vehicle concerns and repair suggestions.
- Comply with health and safety standards while ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong technical acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid UK driving license.
