Role Overview:

  • Serve as the primary contact for a varied client portfolio, showcasing strong business acumen and exceptional relationship management abilities to achieve financial objectives.
  • Deliver corporate secretarial services to a select group of complex clients, ensuring adherence to best practices in corporate governance and secretarial standards.
  • Organize, participate in, and document board meetings, accurately capturing discussions and decisions.
  • Coordinate with board members and other stakeholders regarding meeting logistics and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate the passing of necessary resolutions to meet statutory obligations and maintain corporate records for new entities or those transitioning to Ocorian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative functions related to the client portfolio and support colleagues with their clients as needed.
  • Assist the Associate Director in ensuring that team tasks are completed to the highest standards and within set deadlines, fulfilling team objectives.
  • Oversee billing and debt recovery processes to ensure efficiency and timeliness, collaborating with the Associate Director and Director to negotiate fees that satisfy both Ocorian and clients.
  • Enhance understanding of company administration mechanics, staying informed on anti-money laundering and regulatory matters, including the completion of CDDA for assigned clients.
  • Ensure that workloads meet the standards expected by the Associate Director and are completed within agreed timelines, achieving objectives set by senior staff during performance reviews.
  • Build professional relationships with intermediaries and clients, demonstrating a commitment to high standards of client service in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge, including a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA Intermediate level, CGI Diploma, CIB, STEP Diploma) and approximately 8 years of experience in senior administration within the offshore sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and client management skills, with comprehensive knowledge of current company and trust legislation, as well as the local regulatory landscape, including an acute awareness of risk factors and compliance protocols.
  • Professional demeanor with the capability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels, quickly identifying and addressing client needs.
  • Strong competencies in integrity, written and verbal communication, and multitasking.
  • Effective time management skills, coupled with a thorough understanding of client files and a strong appreciation for financial management issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for nurturing and expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients, along with a keen awareness of business development opportunities.
  • Familiarity with Ocorian's strategies and policies, along with in-depth knowledge of compliance and technical matters, enabling the candidate to serve as a role model for peers and junior staff.
  • Commitment to achieving a minimum of 25 hours of relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) annually.
