Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at EH20 Group. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and fire alarm systems across various client sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the installation of electrical and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Identify potential risks and report them to clients, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Work closely with clients to implement and improve Predictive Maintenance (PPM) programs.
  • Liaise with on-site teams to resolve building service-related issues and provide technical support.
  • Complete required documentation and reports as specified by clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Attend site meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report any incidents or near-misses.
  • Collaborate with other business disciplines to provide comprehensive multi-discipline services to clients.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
  • City & Guilds 2356 Part 1 & 2, City & Guilds 2357, and BS 7671 Electrical Regulations 18th Edition certifications.
  • Desirable: City & Guilds Electrical Inspection and Testing qualification.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
