Job Description

**Job Title:** Level 3 Teaching Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Chuckery Primary School. The successful candidate will provide support to children in Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers and the Special Needs leader to develop provision that meets the needs of individual children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individual or small groups of children in class, promoting their learning and development.
  • Assist with other interventions as required, such as literacy and numeracy support.
  • Plan and develop provision with class teachers and the Special Needs leader to meet the needs of individual children.
  • Supervise children during their lunchtime break, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Attend staff training sessions, developing your skills and knowledge to support the children.
  • Have an appropriate Level 3 qualification and GCSE Maths and English qualifications at grade C (Grade 4) or above.
  • Have experience and confidence working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Have high expectations of every child and be an effective communicator.
