Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer/Manager to join our dynamic operations team at CV Library. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing reliable and high-quality fire system commissioning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Manage and oversee fire system installation projects from design through to final handover, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  2. System Commissioning: Commission various fire and security systems, including Advanced, Gent, Apollo, and Hochiki systems, as well as Emergency Voice Alarm Communication systems, Public Address Systems, and Audio Induction Loops.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of fire and security technicians, ensuring the department runs smoothly day-to-day and providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the installation of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire suppression systems.
  5. Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding fire and security projects, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fire and security systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  7. Procurement: Procure necessary equipment, tools, and materials for installations and maintenance.
  8. Project Planning: Plan and execute projects from initial design through to implementation, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality results.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience as a multi-disciplined Fire Engineer, with a strong background in fire alarm systems commissioning.
  2. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including Gent, Advanced, Hochiki, and others.
  3. Commissioning Experience: Commissioning experience is a significant advantage, but not essential.
  4. Travel Requirements: Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Flexible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Health & Safety: Health & Safety trained.
