We are seeking an upbeat and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across our network.

About the Role

As a Postperson with Driving, you will be required to work independently, using your own initiative to manage your delivery route and ensure timely delivery of mail and packages. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers across our network
  • Manage your delivery route, using your own initiative to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues
  • Work independently, using your own initiative to manage your workload

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. You will also receive overtime pay at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate, as well as 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata). We also offer a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates, and lots of opportunity to develop a career, including our trainee manager roles and Apprentice Schemes.

Requirements

  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated individual
  • Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
  • Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
