Position: HGV Class 1 Transport Operator

24-7 Recruitment Services Ltd, acting as an Employment Business, is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Transport Operators.

As a Transport Operator, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations in the UK. This role involves trunking operations, and some deliveries may require handballing.

Requirements for HGV Class 1 Transport Operators:

  • Possession of a valid Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 6 penalty points (excluding DD's, DR's, TT's, or IN's)
  • Valid Tacho and CPC cards

Responsibilities include:

  • Joining one of the rapidly expanding businesses in the Midlands, offering modern vehicles and a chance to enhance your driving experience
  • Working approximately 40-55 hours per week
  • Immediate start opportunities available
  • Participation in a 2-hour assessment (unpaid)
  • Induction training (paid)

Shift Patterns:

  • Friday to Sunday, with the possibility of additional shifts during the week
  • Start times available from 15:00 onwards

Compensation for HGV Class 1 Transport Operators:

PAYE Dynamic Rates:

  • Day shifts (05:00 - 20:00): £16.34 per hour
  • Overtime after 42.5 hours weekly: £20.43 per hour
  • Night shifts (20:00 - 05:00): £17.91 per hour
