We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our Integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP YOI Doncaster, a category B remand prison housing around 1145 patients aged 18-94 years of age.
As a key member of our team, you will work with a diverse range of complex presentations, trauma, and deprivation. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the development of our psychological therapies service and contributing to the clinical leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training and guidance.
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations.
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group interventions as part of the Trauma-Informed 'Making Sense' Programme.
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff as required.
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation, and research profile as appropriate.

Requirements:
- Full HCPC registration.
- Proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychology.
- Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients.
- Experience working with psychological trauma.
