Job Title: Director In-Business Risk

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director In-Business Risk to join our Global Markets Risk and Control Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of risk across our global operations.

Job Summary:

The Director In-Business Risk will be responsible for developing and maintaining front office control frameworks, ensuring a robust and preventive control environment in the business. This role will also involve monitoring our internal control framework, assisting with control remediation projects, and providing cover and assistance to the wider team with other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain front office control frameworks to ensure a robust and preventive control environment in the business.
  2. Monitor our internal control framework to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Assist with control remediation projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Provide cover and assistance to the wider team with other responsibilities, including updating and enhancing global policies, procedures, and processes.
  5. Assist with audit and compliance inquiries and/or examinations.
Requirements:
  1. Good experience in at least one of: controls & risk, compliance, audit, or regulatory functions.
  2. Strong project management skills - excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and adapt to change.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel.
  4. Ability to demonstrate credible challenge to front office stakeholders.
  5. Undergraduate degree required.
