Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Radiographic Support Specialist (Band 3) to join our esteemed team. This role encompasses a variety of essential duties within the radiology department, utilizing advanced imaging technologies such as X-ray, CT scanning, and Nuclear Medicine. Our facility has recently been upgraded with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing us to conduct approximately 250,000 imaging procedures annually.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate with our team of Radiographic Support Specialists, assisting radiographers, ultrasonographers, and radiologists in their clinical responsibilities. The role also includes administrative and clerical tasks.

Upon receiving appropriate training, the individual will be expected to perform cannulation.

This position will involve rotations in our mammography and gynecological ultrasound departments.

A flexible approach to work is crucial, as our service operates extended hours throughout a 7-day week.

Qualifications

  • Prior healthcare assistant experience.
