Bench Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team at Meridian Business Support in Taunton. As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for working in a small, friendly team in a manufacturing environment, producing high-quality furniture, fixtures, and fittings for the commercial sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate various machines and power tools, including edge banders, jigsaws, chop saws, circular saws, and sanders.
- Use a variety of hand tools to complete tasks.
- Read from plans and CAD drawings to make bespoke items to the correct specifications.
- Work in a workshop environment with occasional site visits as required.
- Experience in operating machines and power tools.
- Ability to read plans and CAD drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
