Kitchen Assistant Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Downe House School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen during peak periods

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, term time only, with 5 weeks of paid annual leave

Shift Pattern:

Set shifts of 7.5 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid break
