We are in search of a dedicated, experienced, and proactive professional with a strong ethical foundation to join the EMEA Operations team. This role offers a dynamic work environment with significant responsibilities and opportunities for professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities

The Raw Materials Operations Manager will oversee a team of Raw Material planners, managing all facets of Raw Materials across the EMEA region. This position involves substantial financial oversight and plays a critical role in the Profit and Loss (P&L) management by ensuring the availability of Raw Materials to support the region's growth while minimizing costs associated with product obsolescence, expedited shipping, and ensuring accurate purchase orders with timely invoicing.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Raw Materials team to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and implement development plans for team members, conducting talent reviews.
  • Contribute to the objectives of the Plan to Production team, setting individual goals and evaluating ongoing performance.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the function, utilizing Business Intelligence tools to monitor team and individual performance.
  • Act as the Business Process Owner for the complete Raw Materials cycle.
  • Generate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) needs and conduct regular supply reviews with key suppliers to ensure visibility of requirements and enhance supplier performance.
  • Oversee the Purchase Order lifecycle for Raw Material procurement from initial order to product delivery and receipt.
  • Reduce obsolescence through proactive measures and manage aging inventory in collaboration with quality assurance, suppliers, and inventory management.
  • Serve as the escalation point for all supplier-related service challenges.
  • Ensure precise inventory reporting across all locations that utilize or store raw materials to minimize unnecessary stock and optimize existing inventory levels.

Candidate Profile

  • Comprehension of the unique challenges posed by a complex and evolving product matrix.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to guide a materials planning team in a progressive development setting.
  • Knowledge of logistics strategies and techniques aimed at reducing delivery costs.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret and leverage data from the company and industry sources to drive success.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology for predicting, tracking, and reporting functional performance.
  • Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to business unit performance.
  • Willingness to undertake additional tasks as assigned outside of the primary business unit responsibilities.
  • Prior experience with SAP, particularly in MRP and Purchase Order lifecycle processes.
