Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer Associate to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our Building Structures business, you will be responsible for the day-to-day design and project management of projects, working closely with a Project Manager and/or Lead Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage a small team of engineers and technicians working directly on projects.
  • Provide technical support to junior team members as part of their training and development.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in large energy transmission and distribution projects, or large energy projects and heavy industrial projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to run small to medium-sized projects or sections of large or complex projects.
  • Experience in commercial project delivery, including financial management and contract administration.
