Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our client's team in Gloucester. As a specialist in electrical and mechanical maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical breakdown repair and planned preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Undertake machine rebuilds and refurbishments.
  • Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime and improve long-term machine reliability.
  • Execute the maintenance plan to work preventatively.
  • Use appropriate root cause analysis tools and 5S.
  • Record all maintenance tasks performed on the reporting system.
  • Train operators and other staff in performing basic front-line maintenance when required.
  • Ensure quality procedures and guidelines are adhered to.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience of working in a machine tool, assembly, or test production environment.
  • Experience undertaking maintenance in an assembly, test, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read Pneumatic, Electrical, and Hydraulic Schematics.
  • Multi-skilled individual with practical experience PLC fault finding and repair.
  • Time-served apprentice or electrically/mechanically qualified.
  • Ability to work in a team or on your own.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
Package:
  • Salary up to £50,000 per year.
  • Monday to Friday 3 shift pattern.
