Architectural Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions for a range of projects, including residential, commercial, and community developments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in architectural technology, with experience working on heritage, residential, and large-scale complex projects. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is desired, and a good knowledge of using AutoCAD is essential. Ideally, you will be working towards MCIAT if not already chartered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical solutions for projects, ensuring compliance with current building regulations
  • Collaborate with the design team to deliver high-quality designs and technical documentation
  • Develop and maintain technical skills, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Contribute to the development of the company's technical expertise and knowledge
Requirements
  • Degree or HND in Architectural Technology or relevant qualification
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in a UK architectural practice
  • Proficiency with Revit is desired
  • Good knowledge of using AutoCAD
  • Ideally working towards MCIAT if not already chartered
  • Experience working on residential projects, small to large scale
  • Proven record of designing for conservation and listed building projects
  • Strong technical abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current building regulations
  • Attentiveness to detail
  • Work well within a team

  • Proactive and positive attitude
