Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
M-Tec Engineering Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Provide mechanical and electrical breakdown cover for all activities on site, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
- Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of PLCs and robots to support the efficient operation of the facility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and robots.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
