Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Senior Cost Estimator to become a vital part of our Facades & Cladding division at Guildmore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of architectural plans, bills of quantities, and other relevant project documentation to accurately estimate costs.
- Engage in research, sourcing, and negotiation to secure optimal pricing and quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Participate in mid and post-tender discussions with clients and subcontractors to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Perform risk assessments based on the information provided by clients, identifying potential gaps.
- Visit project sites to collect essential data and preliminary cost information.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Manager, Head of Design, and Head of Operations to ensure project alignment.
- Complete the Form of Tender and accompanying tender letter, including any necessary qualifications and contract sum analysis.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering and assess tender risks to enhance project outcomes.
Compensation: This role offers a competitive salary range of £65,000-£85,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
