We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Savills Management Resources. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the site, following the company security strategy and responding to security issues and events in a timely manner.
- Incident Management: Manage incidents in accordance with company and centre policies and procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and maintained.
- Communication: Liaise with security controllers and Soft Services Team Leader to ensure effective communication and support during incidents.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, including fire and bomb scares, and ensure the onsite team and client are informed and supported.
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitor and report on suspect individuals, using intelligent understanding of human behavior and adhering to company and centre policies.
- Support to Contractors and Visitors: Assist third-party contractors and visitors, ensuring they adhere to company and centre procedures and policies.
- Radio Communication: Maintain continuous monitoring of centre radio systems, adhering to correct radio procedures at all times.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reference materials, including health and safety records, incident forms, and the daily occurrence book.
- Reporting: Report any events that may impact the provision of security to the Soft Services Team Leader/Soft Services Manager.
- Audit Support: Support management with internal and external audits, in line with company policies and procedures.
- Brand Ambassador: Promote recognition for the team, centre, and wider business through exemplary behavior and a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Front Line SIA Licence
- CCTV SIA Licence
- Qualifications in Security Industry
- Flexible Shift Pattern: Ability to work a 4-day on, 4-day off rota shift pattern, with flexibility to attend work through own transport or public transport.
