Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Professional Technical Ltd. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading and managing building projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage building projects, including design, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet client requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including project updates, progress reports, and final project reports.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor or on the route to chartership with relevant work experience.
  • Degree-qualified surveyor with a strong understanding of building surveying principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in project management, including design, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
