About the Role:

Maintenance Engineer is a key position within our engineering team at Meridian Business Support Limited. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering services to our production lines, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader to deliver a high-quality engineering service.
  • Rapidly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, basic control, and instrumentation faults.
  • Complete a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.
  • Continuously work to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.
  • Get involved with factory improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • FMCG/food background or similar experience.
  • Qualified to an NVQ3/Level 3 standard or solid practical experience in the workplace.
  • Experience working on processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos alongside root cause analysis & fault finding in panels, Relays and Inverters.
