Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: North East Fire and Rescue Authority
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum, plus company van and fuel card
Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
On-call Rota: 1 in 4 weeks, covering 24 hours, with standby payment and relevant hourly rate
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain facilities to the specified levels in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and Redcar and Cleveland Council.
- Perform planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work, either independently or as an assistant to a maintenance tradesperson, on:
- Service and reactive repair of lighting and power distribution systems, motors, and pumps.
- Competent on BMS control systems and PAT tester.
- Carry out maintenance duties to support the objectives of the client and respect the dignity and privacy of the resident group.
- Qualified Electrician with reasonable experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
- 18th Edition City and Guilds.
- Experience in electrical power distribution systems and preferred experience in electrical testing.
- Valid UK Driving Licence required.
- DBS Check before starting on the job.
