Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking secondary school in Southampton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEN in both one-to-one and small group settings.
  • Assist in the delivery of lessons and modify materials to meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Promote inclusion within the classroom and help students build confidence in their learning.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and provide pastoral support.

Requirements

  • Experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
