About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our Gynaecology Team at The Royal Oldham Hospital as a Ward Clerk. This part-time role will cover evenings and is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality administrative support in a busy healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the ward/unit staff, ensuring the smooth running of the department office.
- Ensure the safekeeping and availability of all clinical records relating to patients.
- Provide general assistance to the ward/unit staff, including answering phone calls and responding to queries.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
- NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent, or working towards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
