Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join our team at Innovate Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting the business in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and manage inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and control using our ERP system.
  • Allocate stock and prepare component kits for Works Packages, maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure the traceability of goods and materials, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Pack goods for dispatch, adhering to industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Arrange couriers and ensure all shipments comply with Export Compliance regulations.
  • Perform general maintenance activities, including driving duties as required.
  • Undertake additional tasks as requested by line management.
Requirements
  • Forklift License (preferred but not essential)
  • GCSEs in English and Maths, Grade 4 (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computer systems (MS Office)
  • Versatile and able to multitask effectively
  • Good communication skills
