This is a temporary role for approximately 6-12 months.

We are seeking an experienced Projects Manager to become a key member of the estates and facilities senior management team, with responsibility for ensuring operational capital projects are designed in accordance with statutory requirements, regulations and guidance, and delivered in accordance with agreed programmes.

The post holder is responsible for the delivery of operational capital schemes, ensuring that their delivery is safely and effectively managed, and that works undertaken are of suitable quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide monthly reports on progress of all projects for which the post holder is responsible.
  • Ensure that details relating to amendments to the departments asset lists (i.e. engineering assets, FF&E), record drawings and building manuals are clearly documented and the data updated, reflecting any changes resulting from the undertaking of development schemes.
  • Ensure that any contractors employed to undertake works do so in accordance with safe working practices, complying with the Trust's PTW processes.
  • Risk management experience.
  • Knowledge of building regulations and planning law.
  • General building and maintenance project experience.
