Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team at Hunter Knight Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production planning process, working closely with the Supply Operations and Execution Manager to minimize any potential impact on service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously review supply plans to ensure the right product mix is on stock and service level targets are met according to S&OE requirements.
- Deal with Import & Export requirements, including raw materials.
- Create, schedule, and release Purchase/Production Orders.
- Provide input to S&OE in terms of potential supply issues and supplier constraints.
- Monthly review of stock takes.
- Ongoing improvements in the planning process, including Kanban, WIP stores, and SS.
- Development of knowledge in relevant SAP master data.
- Keep driving the decrease of slow-moving inventory.
- Propose improvements of SAP master data.
- Undertake structured and frequent review of inventory policies.
- Plan production lines efficiently in line with stock requirements and factory constraints.
- Effectively respond and resolve performance and delivery issues.
- Contribute to the successful development of customer supply chain collaboration.
Requirements:
- Hold GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or 5 in Maths and English.
- Preferably degree educated in a relevant business discipline.
- Hold GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or 5 in Maths and English.
- Experienced planner/purchaser.
- Practical knowledge in supply planning processes.
- Knowledge and experience of Reporting & Analytics: SAP BO, MS Office.
- Strong SAP skills (preferably SAP R/3).
