Hours: Rotating Shifts, 5.30am-1.30pm and 2pm-10.30pm with 8pm finish on Friday.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Mig Welder/Fabricator to join our team at a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Welding and fabricating machined parts to a set company standard.
- Ensuring all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Actively engaging with all company Quality Control initiatives.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with sheet metal and assembly.
- Identifying risk and implementing safety improvements.
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and innovative individual with:
- Welding and ideally fabrication experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of the importance of working to deadlines and targets.
The successful candidate can expect:
- Pay for the role is £16.10 per hour and also the pay rate includes shift allowance.
- Excellent career potential with a successful, Worcester-based, multi-national manufacturing company.
- Benefits including 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays, x 2 Life Insurance and Well Being Programmes, Pension, Free uniform, Free parking and also a Subsidised Restaurant on Site.
- Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours in the week then Time 1/2 thereafter. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
