Job Overview

Brighton Girls is seeking a skilled Facilities Support Assistant to play a key role in the maintenance and security of the school premises and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure school buildings and sites are secure, acting as a designated key holder.
  • Assist with programmes of planned preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Support the school's minibus service by driving school minibuses and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
