Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our team at The Talent Partnership. As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for wiring and assembling complex electrical control panels and equipment according to detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and wire control panels and equipment following engineering drawings
  • Install electrical components and wiring according to schematic diagrams
  • Build and assemble enclosures
  • Manoeuvre large heavy control panels
  • Perform testing and inspection of panels to ensure functionality and safety
  • Troubleshoot and repair any wiring issues as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience wiring medium and large control panels
  • Mechanically minded
  • Physically able to manoeuvre large heavy control panels
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for wiring and assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in electrical work
