Job Description: Kitchen Assistant
  • Assist the Chef in preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Prepare and serve breakfast items, including hot beverages, to start each day on a positive note.
  • Heat up or bake prepared supper dishes, presenting them attractively for our residents to enjoy.
  • Create sandwiches and other light meals as requested by the Chef, catering to individual preferences.
  • Ensure all serving trolleys are clean, well-presented, and stocked with necessary crockery, cutlery, trays, and utensils.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize serving trolleys after each meal service, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Required Skills and Qualities
  • A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with colleagues and residents.
