Key Responsibilities- Commercial Objectives: Responsible for the delivery of commercial objectives for the organization, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
- Lending Product Strategy: Ownership of Asset Finance and Real Estate finance products, including market and competitor monitoring, product design, product pricing, product performance, and product management.
- Market and Competitor Monitoring: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product development and strategy.
- Customer Journeys: Joint ownership of the organization's distribution strategy, including the management of customer journeys, customer outcomes, and wider stakeholder relationships.
- Regulatory Compliance: Effective first line of defence, with an excellent handle on regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Team Management: Manage and develop direct reports, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure team success.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with Heads of Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance, and their teams, to drive business results.
- External Representation: Represent the organization at key external events, such as industry conferences and award ceremonies.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present papers at various governance forums, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Product Management Experience: Extensive experience of product management in either Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance, with a proven track record of delivering business results.
- Market Knowledge: Excellent market knowledge for either Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance, with a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
- Product Management Principles: Broad knowledge of product management principles, with the ability to apply these flexibly to meet business needs.
- Analytical and Customer-Focused Approach: Analytical, customer-first approach, with a focus on delivering good customer outcomes.
- Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly: Comprehensive understanding of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements, with the ability to apply these in a product management context.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent level of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Negotiation and Relationship Management: Negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Budget Management: Budget management experience, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- PC Skills: PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Salary: £55-70K depending on experience.
