Overview:
Are you seeking a role where you can take charge and enjoy flexibility within a Building Design firm that prioritizes employee development? Our esteemed client is looking for an NEC Project Supervisor to join their team in the picturesque North Yorkshire region, focusing on a diverse range of stimulating infrastructure projects within the public sector, including highways and public realm initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with the Works Information.
- Conduct inspections and witness testing to guarantee adherence to quality standards outlined in the contract.
- Identify potential challenges, provide guidance on preventative measures, and manage any defects that may occur.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Familiarity with the NEC suite of contracts, particularly the PSC and ECC.
- Experience in Infrastructure and Project Management, specifically in highways, civil engineering, and public realm projects.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to interpret drawings and tender documents.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience in preparing and negotiating instructions with contractors in line with contractual obligations.
- A degree in a relevant construction discipline such as Building Surveying, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Project Management, along with NEC accreditation or equivalent knowledge of industry-standard contracts (NEC 3 & 4).
