Job Title: Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd.

About the Role:

As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will be working with a pupil who requires support with their speech and language difficulties. Your role will involve providing intervention support, working on a 1:1 basis with the pupil, and supporting other pupils with SEN or Speech & Language difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing intervention support to the pupil with speech and language difficulties
  • Working on a 1:1 basis with the pupil to develop their communication skills
  • Supporting other pupils with SEN or Speech & Language difficulties
  • Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
Requirements:
  • Solid academics: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
  • Previous experience of working with children (Voluntary or Paid)
  • Experience of working with children with SEN or Speech & Language difficulties
  • Aspiring Speech & Language therapist
  • Engaging and upbeat personality
  • Passion to work with children
  • Confident and reliable
