Key Responsibilities- Incident Management: Address and resolve issues reported by end users, managing tickets on the Incident Management System.
- System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.
- Network Oversight: Oversee network servers and technology tools to ensure optimal performance.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage outages.
- Security and Compliance: Uphold security through access controls, backups, vulnerability detection and mitigation, and firewalls.
- Technical Documentation: Produce and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with third-party support companies to provide necessary support and manage the workload and personnel of the Systems and Security Administrator role.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, Azure, Azure Hybrid AD, Intune/Autopilot, Microsoft Teams (including phone system), and Cisco Firewalls.
- Experience and Skills: Experience with server patching, VMWare, backups/DR planning, Umbrella, VPNs, VLAN, switch patching and maintenance, and various other systems and technologies listed.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and personal organisation skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and manage conflicting priorities.
- Cybersecurity: Experience with Cyber Security Essentials Plus, ISO27001, and other security accreditations is desirable.
