About the Role

Winit (UK) Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Tamworth facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse equipment, including robots, conveyors, sorters, and crane systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform periodic maintenance tasks on equipment, using documentation and hand tools, to ensure accurate, timely, and safe completion.
  • Report any exceptions to the Engineer during maintenance.
  • Perform fault isolation, testing, inspection, assembly, disassembly, replacement, and repair tasks under the supervision of the Engineer.
  • Conduct inventory checks, including quantity and condition of spare parts and tools.
  • Produce technical documentation for record-keeping.
  • Solve exception cases under the supervision of the Engineer.
  • Attend training courses as required.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties of equipment.
  • Complete quality inspections to ensure work is carried out to a safe standard.
  • Work to and follow all Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Directly report to the Engineer.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts.
  • Ability to gather requirements from the equipment usage department through interviews and effectively communicate key priorities to technical professionals.
  • Planning capability, capable of systematic equipment rating and equipment maintenance plan formulation.
  • Certain training abilities, can instruct the operator to operate the equipment correctly, and can instruct the Automation Equipment Maintenance management and Associates to gradually improve the equipment maintenance skills.
  • Master mechanical principle, electric control principle.
  • Familiarity with lubricating grease and lubricating method of equipment, and familiar with commonly used equipment maintenance tools and electric testing instruments and meters.
  • Effective spare parts management and cost control.
