Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at Adapt Mechanical Services Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in various settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position will be discussed depending on experience, and plenty of overtime will be available. We also offer a competitive salary range of £32,500.00-£40,061.00 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, build, install, and maintain air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and interpret schematics to identify and resolve issues.
  3. Conduct routine inspections of air conditioning units to ensure they are functioning properly and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proficient in air conditioning system installation and maintenance, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles.
  2. Ability to interpret and work from schematics, and experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting.
  3. Leadership skills to guide a team of engineers and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Work Environment and Requirements

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work on the road and travel to various locations. A driving license is required, and the ideal candidate will be willing to work away from home when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time, Apprenticeship, Graduate
