Position Available:
Evening Maintenance Technician


We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a skilled and driven individual to become part of our Bootle garage team as an Evening Maintenance Technician.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your primary responsibility will be to uphold our fleet of PCV vehicles.

Compensation:
£19 - £25 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct servicing and repairs on vehicles to meet Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Continuously enhance vehicle quality
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT assessments
  • Identify faults and ensure maintenance aligns with Arriva's high standards
  • Work during designated shifts

Qualifications:

  • Recognized qualifications in PSV/HGV maintenance (e.g., Level 3 NVQ)
  • Capability to work independently and safely
  • Electrical expertise is advantageous
  • PCV license is a plus
  • Experience with vehicle inspections (training will be provided); IRTEC accreditation is a benefit
