Role Overview:
The Student Support Counsellor will play a vital role in providing tailored assistance to students within the International Study Centre. This position involves:
- Offering specialized guidance and support to students.
- Managing a diverse caseload of student clients and conducting therapeutic consultations.
- Creating and facilitating therapeutic workshops and group sessions.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and institutional policies.
- Monitoring and providing support for students with unique needs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in counselling or psychological therapy.
- Accreditation or registration with a recognized professional organization.
- Experience in providing time-sensitive interventions and working with young individuals.
- Proficiency in mental health risk assessment and crisis intervention.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding protocols.
