Propulsion Test Section Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Manager to lead our Propulsion Test Section team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of our Test and Commissioning programme, ensuring all tasks are completed as per the schedule and plan.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Propulsion Test Section to deliver all tasks as per the Test and Commissioning programme and schedule.
- Ensure all elements required to deliver the Test and Commissioning plan are enabled.
- Support the development and delivery of the Test and Commissioning strategy and ways of working.
- Promote opportunities within the team to enhance a learning and development culture across multiple contracts.
- Support the development of an organisational structure that keeps pace with changing workloads to ensure Test and Commissioning is ready to deliver its full scope of requirements.
- Manage individuals within their team while developing them to ensure the correct level of SQEP (suitably qualified experienced person) is available and capable to deliver the Test and Commissioning scope of work.
- Promote a safe working environment for the team, ensuring all relevant processes are up to date and followed.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge in steam, water, diesel generation, electrical generation and distribution systems environment incorporating testing and commissioning experience (preferably from an armed forces/submarine background).
- Experience in managing people.
- Experience in managing delivery of plans and schedules.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP or equivalent toolsets advantageous.
