The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Forklift Counterbalance Operator to join a prominent food production company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precise goods receipt and verification against relevant documentation.
  • Experience in refrigerated warehouse picking is essential.
  • Safely load and unload vehicles using forklift trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain exceptional warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Implement stock rotation procedures and assist with inventory counts as necessary.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess a valid Counterbalance forklift license and have prior experience in a similar role.

Training Schedule:

Initial training will be conducted on the 6am-2:30pm shift for the first week, transitioning to the 2pm-10:30pm shift thereafter.

Compensation:

Hourly rate of £13.94 (£11.44 base rate plus a £20 daily shift bonus). Overtime opportunities are available on weekends.

This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.
