Senior Community Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Community Carer to join our team at Brunelcare. As a Senior Community Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, ensuring their dignity and well-being are respected and promoted at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on personal care to customers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Support customers with writing up support plans, ensuring person-centred care is provided.
- Mentor new staff members when they start, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Respect the dignity and privacy of our customers, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Dedicate administration time each week to assist the Team Leader with compliance of the service.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, currently one week on and one week off, with an additional £75 per week while on call.
- Work a fixed two-week rolling rota, ensuring a consistent and reliable service to our customers.
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience of working in care, who holds (or is working towards) a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care. You will be available to work shifts between 7am and 10pm, including every other weekend. A naturally kind, patient, and compassionate person, able to put a smile on clients' faces, is essential for this role.
You will have excellent timekeeping skills, with the ability to listen and understand customers' needs while ensuring all tasks are completed. A driving licence and your own vehicle are also essential due to the distance between our customers' homes.
Job Benefits- £500 welcome bonus on successful completion of your probationary period.
