Job Overview
Join our client's highly efficient and professional vehicle repair team, recognized for over 20 years of excellence in automotive bodywork. With a workforce of over 600 skilled professionals, our client is a multi-award-winning organization operating 35 body shops across the nation. We are currently seeking a Vehicle Body Repair Specialist to join their busy workshop. The ideal candidate will preferably hold ATA qualifications in the automotive refinishing sector, possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience, and demonstrate the ability to execute vehicle repairs to the highest standards.
The Vehicle Body Repair Specialist will be responsible for dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles in accordance with repair estimates, ensuring compliance with established methods and procedures for each task. It is essential to verify that all safety-related items and materials are within their usage dates and suitable for the intended purpose. Any deviations from the repair estimate or prescribed methods should be promptly reported to the estimator.
While we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Body Repair Specialist, we are also open to considering Level 3 qualified vehicle technicians seeking a transition from dealership environments to a dedicated accident repair workshop.

Requirements
Applicants must provide proof of the right to work in the UK. Relevant manufacturer experience is essential. Candidates should maintain a smart appearance and demonstrate competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT skills. A solid understanding of basic vehicle design, functionality, and the location of parts is required. Relevant product knowledge is also necessary.
Successful candidates will support continuous performance improvement, seek feedback on their performance, and take responsibility for their own development. They should understand the drivers of business performance and leverage them to optimize commercial opportunities. Efficient planning and management of processes, resources, and workflows are crucial.
