Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting Senior Accountants with various accounting tasks, including account preparation, documentation, monthly bookkeeping, client interactions, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Accountants with accounting tasks, including account preparation, documentation, and bookkeeping.
  • Prepare and maintain customer records, conduct regular bank reconciliations, and process monthly payments.
  • Manage payroll duties, prepare balance sheets, and assist with audit tasks, journal entries, and related paperwork.
  • Provide excellent client liaison and communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced office environment, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Requirements:

  • Accounts Assistant or similar experience.
  • AAT or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or studying towards ACCA.
  • Experience with similar tasks, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and payroll.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
