The Role: Duty Manager

As a Duty Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our restaurant at Newcastle Airport. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of colleagues, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  • Supervise and support your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure the efficient running of all operational aspects, including food preparation, service, and cash handling.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the restaurant.
  • Implement company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or retail industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
