Job Summary:

Thomas Grant Recruitment is seeking a reliable and flexible HGV Class 1 driver to join our team for a general haulage job based in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 1 license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle for general haulage purposes
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and vehicle maintenance
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 points on the license
• At least 2 years of experience driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle
• Recent driving experience within the last 6 months
• Current CPC qualification
• Recent hours on the digi-tacho card

Working Conditions:

• Monday to Friday, day shift
• On-site parking available

Compensation:

• PAYE: £14.50 per hour
• UMBRELLA: £15.63 per hour
• Nights: £15.00 per hour (PAYE), £16.25 per hour (UMBRELLA)
